The clouds hung low on Thursday morning, when we asked ourselves the question of the ages, the eternally unanswered question, this: "what do we do on a too-long break?"
And being the perpetually indecisive OT kids that we are, we drove around for a while until we drove past the Gallery and decided that we'd stay there until our afternoon class starts.

Cleve's Gourmet Coffee called to us, almost literally. When we walked past it, a welcoming couple (they were the owners!) talked to us a little bit and we found ourselves walking into this Kiwi-themed cafe.
Their menu is a little mesh of Kiwi and Filipino breakfast food although there wasn't that much distinction between the two cuisines- bacon, hash brown, corned beef, eggs, toast all seem to be part of any country's breakfast food.
Our brunch was alright, nothing fancy, nothing special, but it was alright. The wheat toast was a little chewy and the hash browns tasted like the grocery store (we kid you not, they really did taste like the grocery store!) but it was an alright meal, considering how not-much we spent on it.
Their prices range from 80-400 pesos which isn't bad, especially when you go at 7-10 AM because that's combo meal time! That means a free cup of coffee or tea for every meal.
Our curious minds wandered over to the artworks on the walls.
All throughout the cafe, you'll see pictures taken in New Zealand and a few posters of movies that were shot in New Zealand (The Hobbit and Avatar, to name a couple). We took a closer look and found out that they weren't stickers.
Graem (one of the owners) noticed us trying to figure out how those pictures were put up when they weren't stickers, he was nice enough to take the time to explain to us how he printed the photographs on plastic and he used a blowtorch to transfer the photographs on the wall. We wish we could go into detail and explain well but in all honesty, we can't. We'd just confuse you even more if we tried.
The face behind the name, Miss Cleve:
Finally, a freedom board. Who doesn't love freedom boards? That's right, nobody! Feeding Curiosities sure love them... and doodling, we love doodling.
